“Everything we do in digital is a complement to what is happening in real life.”
Our VP of Marketing, Katonah Rafter, is interviewed in a new report from the Altimeter Group: The Data-Driven Business: How Industry Leaders Use Data to Create Value.
The report features a case study on how Fame House works with clients like Ice Cube to leverage data to inform our strategies and drive results.
From the Altimeter Group:
Data is moving from being a by-product of business to its lifeblood. Across industries, from sole proprietorships to multi-billion-dollar companies, data is informing and driving businesses and, increasingly, becoming not only the enabler of products and services, but central to the product or service itself.
Organizations that wish to compete in the data economy must look at their data not only as a technology issue, but as a strategic asset to be used for competitive advantage.
This report lays out the key use cases for data-driven value creation, presents examples of organizations that are using data creatively and effectively, outlines the most pressing issues and opportunities, and presents best practices that show how data strategy can transform organizations.
Our CEO, Mike Fiebach, joined CNN International’s Quest Means Business program today to talk about the strategy behind Kanye West’s new album release. Mike shared insights into the changing landscape of the music industry and what it takes for artists to capture fans’ and the media’s attention in 2016.
The FH team gathered to watch from our Philly office as Mike went live on CNN!
Winners are chosen through a combination of ratings from The Academy and votes from the public. Voting ends on February 18 at 11:59pm ET.
Fame House was among 50 companies selected from thousands in the Philadelphia region for SmartCEO’s annual Future 50 Awards. The program recognizes the region’s fastest growing mid-sized companies:
These companies represent the future of the region’s economy and embody the entrepreneurial spirit critical for leadership and success.
Future 50 winners are chosen based on a three-year average of employee and revenue growth.
Our CEO, Mike Fiebach, accepted the award at a gala on January 19. Read SmartCEO’s profile on Fame House in their January/February issue here.
Congratulations to Ice Cube and N.W.A. for their induction into the 2016 Class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The accolade comes a few short months after Straight Outta Compton scorched the box office, earning over $200MM worldwide, making it the highest grossing biopic in history. After being on the ballot three times prior to this year, N.W.A. will join Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Chicago and Steve Miller as their fellow inductees.
In addition to the critical acclaim the film has already received, the induction puts an exclamation point on not only the film, but the impact and legacy of N.W.A.
The campaign was one of 29 chosen by Music Ally as the best of the best this year. From Music Ally:
This year we’ve had such an overwhelming number of submissions that it’s been an incredibly tough job to whittle them down to the 29 you will find in this issue. The campaigns are listed in alphabetical order and cover everything from massive stars all the way down to self-released artists. No matter the budget, we have focused on bringing you the highest quality campaigns.

On Monday December 14th, the Fame House crew headed to South Philly to lend a helping hand at Philabundance, a non-profit food bank that serves the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley regions. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who painted a pretty bleak, but accurate, picture of the city we live in and the amount of people who don’t know where they will find their next meal.
Following the opening remarks, the FH crew was split into three groups, with one group focused on checking for expiration dates, another sorting food types and the final group manning the conveyor belt with our own Frank Spada given the responsibility of separating nuts from the rest of the food.
Alex Ferguson was quoted as saying “Even though the conveyer belt made me dizzy and at times I felt like I was going to pass out, the day was incredibly rewarding.”
Overall, we were responsible for packaging close to 7,000 pounds of food!
For more information on how you can help please visit Philabundance’s website: http://www.philabundance.org/volunteer/.
