Future 50 winners are chosen based on a three-year average of employee and revenue growth.

Congratulations to Ice Cube and N.W.A. for their induction into the 2016 Class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The accolade comes a few short months after Straight Outta Compton scorched the box office, earning over $200MM worldwide, making it the highest grossing biopic in history. After being on the ballot three times prior to this year, N.W.A. will join Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Chicago and Steve Miller as their fellow inductees.
In addition to the critical acclaim the film has already received, the induction puts an exclamation point on not only the film, but the impact and legacy of N.W.A.

On Monday December 14th, the Fame House crew headed to South Philly to lend a helping hand at Philabundance, a non-profit food bank that serves the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley regions. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who painted a pretty bleak, but accurate, picture of the city we live in and the amount of people who don’t know where they will find their next meal.
Following the opening remarks, the FH crew was split into three groups, with one group focused on checking for expiration dates, another sorting food types and the final group manning the conveyor belt with our own Frank Spada given the responsibility of separating nuts from the rest of the food.
Alex Ferguson was quoted as saying “Even though the conveyer belt made me dizzy and at times I felt like I was going to pass out, the day was incredibly rewarding.”
Overall, we were responsible for packaging close to 7,000 pounds of food!

Congratulations to Fame House clients ODESZA and Maroon 5, who both received nominations today for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
Maroon 5’s hit single “Sugar” received a nomination in the Pop Duo/Group Performance category, while ODESZA’s “Say My Name feat. Zyra (RAC Remix)” was nominated in the Remixed Recording, Non-Classical category.

Fame House client Nugs.net recently launched a subscription streaming app for their popular livedownloads.com music store. This is the first app of its kind for the jam-band community, allowing subscribers to listen to over 10,000 live shows from the scene’s biggest artists.
Currently the app contains over 250,000 jams from 15 different artists, with new live shows added soon after the encore. The app features high-quality audio streaming and the ability to write fan reviews on every show.

Non-subscribers will still be able to listen to a selection of 3 new featured shows every week and a stream of the nugs.net radio service. The service costs $12.99 per month or $129.99 per year and is available on iOS and Android. Users can also sign up for a seven-day free trial.
Fame House clients ODESZA launched a brand new mobile app this week, available for iOS and Android. Within the app, fans can access all of ODESZA’s music, exclusive videos and photos, live streams from the road, merch and ticket pre-sale offers, and the ability to add friends and chat with other fans.

The app was released on Wednesday, just in time for ODESZA’s back-to-back sold out shows at Philly’s Union Transfer. The FH crew got to test out the live stream functionality while at the show and watched as hundreds of fans lit up the chat with comments about how amazing the app was.
