OBJECTIVE: Design, release, and market a new t-shirt line inspired by her best-selling book, The Art of Asking, just in time for a Black Friday / Cyber Monday store sale.
APPROACH: In order to heighten fan excitement, Amanda posted Fame House’s designs to Facebook and polled the fans on which version of the design that they preferred. This participation from the fans helped ensure that we were printing something that they genuinely wanted.
To market the sale / new items, we sent an email blast to Amanda’s full list with images of the tees and a discount code for 20% off the store, exclusive to Amanda’s mailing list and Patreon supporters.
RESULTS: This sale resulted in Amanda’s highest store sale month of 2015 and about 3x her average monthly sales.
