OBJECTIVE: Reengage Phantogram’s email list subscribers ahead of launching the band’s new D2C merch store.

APPROACH: We placed a countdown timer and an email collection form on a custom web store page, enabling fans to opt in for news about merch offers in advance of the store going live. When the store launched, we sent targeted, personal email blasts to likely purchasers and allowed the rest of the existing mailing list to opt-in for future messaging.

RESULTS: This campaign improved email open rate by 45% and email click-through rate by 29%, driving valuable store traffic from fans who had already expressed interest to buy.
