Fame House coordinated an extensive album pre-order for A Color Map of the Sun, the self-released, GRAMMY-nominated 2013 album from electronic music heavy hitter Pretty Lights. Using customized e-commerce capabilities, we created custom album bundles, where fans could choose from a number of merchandising options and select either vinyl, CD, and/or digital downloads of the album. All of this was encompassed on a custom landing page that Fame House designed and developed.
Fame House handled all direct-to-fan marketing for the release, including a 3-month email marketing and paid media campaign. In addition, we coordinated another partnership with BitTorrent for the album’s release, as well as a partnership with SoundCloud Pro to surprise premiere the full album for fans a week before its official release. The album premiere on SoundCloud was streamed over a quarter million times before the release.
