Job Functions

Communicate and resolve inquiries with customers via email and social media

Resolve product or service problems by:

  • clarifying the customer’s complaint
  • determining the cause of the problem
  • selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
  • expediting correction or adjustment
  • following up to ensure resolution

As well as:

  • Assist with placement of orders refunds or exchanges
  • Keeps customer records up to date
  • Report recurring issues trends
  • Prepare and ship customer care packages, gift cards and other correspondence as needed
  • Other administrative responsibilities as required
  • Responds to customers in a timely and completely respectful manner
  • Treat customers the way they would like to be treated and strive to always make a positive difference in customers’ lives
  • Uphold the policies of the E-Commerce/Merchandising department as stated in the Fame House Customer Care Help Center

Fame House, a Universal Music Group company, seeks a part-time Jr Copywriter to work across our clients’ stores to execute best-in-class merchandising copy strategy and descriptions for our clients. You will have the opportunity to write for some of the most successful artists and entertainment companies in the world, and to work with emerging digital music and entertainment technologies.

  • Proficient at creating product descriptions, advertising copy, and overall digital writing
  • Possesses a strong sense of voice and writing style; is able to adapt according to client needs
  • Strong understanding in storefront merchandising – specifically how copy is utilized to sell product
  • Is able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and allocate time independently
  • Can do excellent research on client products, services, and the industry to inform the content
  • Is very proficient at copy editing and proofreading
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices in e-commerce
  • Organized in execution and presentation of work
  • Ensuring all pieces conform to the client’s specific style guidelines

Job Requirements:
