Fame House clients ODESZA launched a brand new mobile app this week, available for iOS and Android. Within the app, fans can access all of ODESZA’s music, exclusive videos and photos, live streams from the road, merch and ticket pre-sale offers, and the ability to add friends and chat with other fans.
The app was released on Wednesday, just in time for ODESZA’s back-to-back sold out shows at Philly’s Union Transfer. The FH crew got to test out the live stream functionality while at the show and watched as hundreds of fans lit up the chat with comments about how amazing the app was.
Eminem and Shady Records have partnered with Music Powered Games to announce Shady Wars, a new kind of music game that combines arcade and rhythm gameplay with lyrics from Eminem and other Shady Records artists.
The free game includes eight songs, with six battles for each song. As you win battles, you will earn coins, which can be used to unlock the next song, much-needed power-ups, and other Shady characters.
Fame House CEO Mike Fiebach will deliver the Keynote Presentation at this week’s Music Startup Academy event in Philadelphia. Presented by the Music Business Association, the event seeks to help artists, startups, and entrepreneurs break the barriers of entry into the industry:
The course curriculum will provide insights into key areas like licensing, business development and operations. The event will also highlight what VCs are looking for in their quest for the next great startup. Attendees will also get to hear from music startups in the Philadelphia area navigating their way through the music industry.

This week marks the third in a row that Sraight Outta Compton is number one in theaters across the United States. The film chronicles the story of N.W.A. and features O’Shea Jackson Jr., portraying his father and Fame House client Ice Cube.
Its opening weekend smashed expectations with a box office total of $60.2MM, the highest of all time for a music biopic.
Fame House has been supporting the film’s release via socials, email, and the all new IceCube.com. We also developed lightweight “lyric cards” featuring iconic N.W.A. lyrics and imagery to help drive engagement around the film.
Australian DJ competition Your Shot is coming stateside with the help of Fame House client Tiësto. This competition allows anyone with dance music ambitions a shot at their dreams, as no prior experience is needed. The winner has the opportunity to open for Tiësto at Hakkasan, his club residency in Las Vegas. The winner will also perform at Ultra 2016 on Stage 7.
Fame House has led the charge on Paid Media for this campaign, and is providing social strategy and execution for the competition across Tiësto’s channels.
Surrounding the release of Southpaw and its soundtrack, Fame House was tasked with creating the lyric video for Eminem’s “Phenomenal,” the lead track off the album. Fame House’s creative team conceptualized the video from scratch, using motion graphics to effectively capture the nuanced lyricism and relentless delivery on display from Eminem:
After scoring some of the biggest films of 2015, including Mad Max: Fury Road, Junkie XL has announced his next big project: the upcoming film Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice. In a unique pairing alongside Hans Zimmer, Junkie XL will score the Batman elements of the film, while Zimmer will take the reigns on the Superman score.
