The Video Content Manager leads all video work for Fame House, including conception, shooting, production, and editing of video assets for to support our client’s campaigns.

Job Functions

  • Work with account teams to conceptualize, pitch, create, and deliver video assets to support client objectives.
  • Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
  • Create rough and final cuts.
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Job Requirements

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven work experience as a video editor
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to set priorities.
  • Ability to receive and execute creative direction
  • Thrives in a fast paced work environment
  • Works well within a small team
  • Must have a passion for the web, music and entertainment industries.

Experience:

  • 3+ years working in video editing, preferably in an agency setting.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography or related field.

Summary

Fame House, a Universal Music Group company, is looking for a part time Paid Media Assistant to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The Paid Media Assistant will support our Paid Media and Account Teams by helping to manage and execute our clients’ digital advertising campaigns, primarily on Facebook and other social advertising platforms. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most successful artists and entertainment companies in the world. Must be able to work 20-25 hours/week.

Job Functions:

  • Assist campaign set-up, including uploading creative and building out ad units and campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign budget pacing and optimize spends against campaign KPIs.
  • Help to compile reports on campaign and overall digital performance.
  • Assist with developing media plans and campaign strategy for our clients.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for paid media clients.
  • Conduct market research specific to client or project needs.

Job Requirements

Skills + Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of digital media platforms and trends, particularly Facebook and Instagram Ads, Twitter Ads, and AdWords.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and an ability to make informed decisions based on data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac OS, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Drive and confidence to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Self-starter attitude capable of owning tasks and seeing them through to completion.
  • Strong passion for marketing and the music industry.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years interning in a digital media position.
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and AdWords.

Education:

  • High School Diploma; some college required.
  • Coursework in marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred.

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most successful artists and entertainment companies in the world, and to work with emerging digital music and entertainment technologies. You will support our Account Teams by assisting in the management of our clients’ digital properties and execution of digital marketing campaigns on behalf of our clients.

Job Functions:

  • Write and execute content calendars for client social channels.
  • Execute community management across client social channels.
  • Curate and design visual assets for content calendars, as needed.
  • Execute tour marketing across digital channels.
  • Audit and optimize clients’ digital channels on an on-going basis.
  • Help to compile reports on campaign and overall digital performance.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for accounts.
  • Conduct market research specific to client or project needs.
  • Contribute ideas to marketing plans for upcoming client milestones such as music releases, product launches, video premieres, tour announcements, public appearances, etc.
  • Keep abreast of evolving music industry and digital marketing technologies.

  • Familiarity with WordPress, email marketing/CRM tools (e.g. ExactTarget, Mailchimp, Fanbridge), social and analytical tools (e.g. Simply Measured, Next Big Sound, Google Analytics).

Experience:

  • 1-2 years interning in a digital marketing position, preferably within the music industry.
  • Experience managing business/brand profiles on social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, etc. is a major plus.
  • Basic HTML, Photoshop, and Basecamp experience is a plus.

Education:

  • High School Diploma; some college required.
  • Coursework in marketing, music business, or a related field preferred.
